Who we are
At Kol Am, we’re not just open to difference — we’re building a community around it. Maybe you're a Jewish atheist who wants your child to explore Jewish identity without God. Maybe you're part of a queer, interfaith, or multicultural family where Jewishness is complex, beautiful, and worth passing on. Maybe one parent is Jewish “on their dad’s side,” or you’re spiritually curious but religiously unaffiliated, and you’ve been wondering how — or whether — to give your child a Jewish education that feels true to your values. If any of that sounds familiar, we want you with us. Families like yours are not just welcome — they are what make Kol Am whole.
Kol Am is Secular Humanistic Judaism in action — cultivating Jewish identity through culture, values, and community. Our Saturday School for grades K–5 will launch in March 2026 with a 12-week pilot program rooted in project-based learning. Children will explore Jewish culture, holidays, history, and ethical questions through storytelling, art, music, food, and social justice. Our approach honors children as meaning-makers and encourages deep inquiry, joyful participation, and a sense of belonging — all without prayer or God language.
We believe Jewish learning can be vibrant, grounded, and inclusive — a place where kids and caregivers grow side by side in curiosity, connection, and conscience.
